heart rate increased after smoking weed… almost 5 days ago?
over the weekend, i got some of my friends over to smoke some weed, and i had about 5 bowl packs and a joint, and i have a low tolerance to the herb.
here i am 5 days later (last time i toked was saturday morning) and my heart is still faster than usual. for what it’s worth, i have panic attacks and severe anxiety and things have been bothering me lately. i saw a psychiatrist today about it, and got some nerve medication called Klonopin 1.0mg. i took one and it relaxed my body, but not my heart. i had a panic attack in his office.
i have no serious heart issues, just tachycardia and very mild MVP that requires no treatment.
so can weed make your heart rate fast for several days after smoking it if you have a low tolerance? or do you think it’s the anxiety eating me up (it honestly is) or both? i’m really freaking out right now..i don’t know what to do. please, if someone can give me any answers/advice/help i’ll humbly thank you from the bottom of my heart
thanks for the answers, guys.
what i’m worried about is, why is my pulse still high after smoking? do you think i’m worried about how my pulse was fast before, and now that i’m worried, my pulse is consistently fast?
